Bastion is a Zürich start-up founded by Luca Seeberger. He has worked in IT since the start of his career, in engineering and architecture. For security operations and forensics, Bastion brings in experienced cyber security analysts and forensics specialists case by case. This covers what an SME needs for a secure Microsoft environment; from a clean build to the analysis when something has happened.

Luca has been building and running IT environments for Swiss companies for 18 years, most recently under his own flag as Seeberger Engineering. At Bastion he is responsible for architecture and deployment: Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access and the security policies that turn a standard setup into a protected environment.
For security operations, incident response and active forensic cases, Bastion works with experienced cyber security analysts and forensics specialists and brings them in case by case. Responsibility for your case stays with Bastion.
We build on Microsoft technology because most Swiss SMEs already license it. The protection a company needs is often already included in its existing subscription; it just is not configured. That is the gap we close.
For analysis we use a SOAR platform we developed ourselves (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response): it consolidates alerts and handles the first, efficient triage with AI-assisted threat analysis. This lets us analyse log data and incidents in hours instead of days. The actual security work remains manual: every analysis is reviewed and signed off by an experienced specialist.
